Well done to the boys 13 a side team.
They were playing today in Craughwell in the Cumann na Mbunscoil championship and won all three games which mean they qualify for the finals in Loughgeorge. They were drawn in a group including Lackagh, Ballymana and Gael Scoil Mhic amhlaigh.
Our first game was against Lackagh and the boys hurled with pride, strenght and no lack of skill. We got off to a winning start, next up was Ballymana who had also won their first game. In a tight game and with scores hard to come by we led at half time by 4 points.Ballymana were a tough side and didnt give in until the very end. Two late goals in the second half for us ensured our victory. The final game was against Gael Scoil Mhic amhlaigh and all the panel got an opportunity to show off their hurling skill with another superb victory.
Thanks to all the parents for their support today. The boys did us all proud. The finals are on Tuesday the 13th of June in Loughgeorge.
