Clairin College invited us to visit them to view the fantastic work they have been preparing for 'Proclamation Day'. Guided by students we walked through the halls of the college stopping at different points to learn about different aspects of 1916. We learned about what people of the time wore, the state of the country leading up to the rising, local heroes such as Liam Mellow and much more. Well done to all the pupils of Clairin College who organised the day. t was a massive success.
