Carnaun Camógie Blitz 2017 (2nd-6th class)

The girls of Newcastle N.S. once again made us all so proud today. The rain was relentless, but spirits were high all day, as the girls displayed their skills and had fun. The talented up and coming juniors played impressively and the senior team went on to win the final. The girls were a joy to watch on the pitch and more importantly, they all supported and encouraged each other, which is exactly what days like this are all about. A MASSIVE thank you to Mr O'Connor for training the girls at lunch and after school throughout the year, and also to Ms Fahy who organised and prepared the girls for today. Go Newcastle!
