Athenry Tidy Towns

On the 21/6/17 we were delighted to welcome Celia, Pat and Paddy back to Newcastle. They are voluntary members of the 'Athenry Tidy Town' who give up their free time to help make Athenry area the beautiful place that we know and love. With the help of Gabe Cronnelly and his son Michael we set to work on maintaining the school surroundings. 3rd/4th cleaned around the school grounds, 4th/5th cleaned up at the community pitch and5th/6th cleaned up at the community centre as well as Templemoyle graveyard. We collected nearly 10 bags of rubbish in total. The pupils take great pride in keeping Newcastle clean. Well done everyone.
