Féile Champions Visit Newcastle 2016

We were delighted to welcome back our past pupils who were on the winning Féile team. Athenry have won the 3 times in a row and John Cloonan told the school that he is hoping to do it 4 in a row next year! The boys got a heroes welcome today. Congratulatios to the boys.

5 of the team are past pupils and one boy is still in 6th class.

The team captain spoke to the whole school.

John Cloonan told the younger players to keep up the practice.

Mr O' Connor encouraged the younger players to keep up the practice and they too might be back in a few year's time with the Féile cup.
