What an achievement

The girls did the school, their parents, their fellow pupils and themselves proud today with a fantastic display in Kilconieron. Here is just a small bit about these fantastic girls.

Our goalie Mia pulled off save after save today in the final as she has done on several previous occasions.She was amazing.

Clara in defence was rock solid. She harried, blocked and made fantastic interceptions. She was even setting up our attacks.

Kiara was like a magnet to the sliotar. She stopped attack after attack from the opposite teams.

Sabina was her usual brilliant self and led the team with her great performance.

Olwen was superb in the final, blocking, tackling and striking.

Shannon was the scoring threat throughout the final and she didn't disappoint with some super goals.

Jessica worked ferociously hard at the edge of the square and played excellently.

Jenna came on and did very well.She has a bright future ahead of her.

Eabha has worked incredibly hard all year on her hurling and her skill levels are fantastic.

Nina is an all round sports person and played fantastic throughout the competition.

Overall it was a fantastic team display. We are so proud of you all. A big thank you to Mr Danny O' Connor for all the work he has done in preparing the girls for today.
