Congratulations to the Library Quiz Winners 22-10-2015

                                                                 A huge congratulations to the two teams who represented the school today in the library quiz in Athenry. Both teams did very well and the tension in the library was unreal as it went to a tie break round. Newcastle were up against Craughwell and the wonderful Newcastle team got 10 out of 10 questions right in the tie break round! We are very proud of both teams. Ms Treacy brought the two teams to the shop and they chose their own goodies as a reward.

                                                             The winning team will be presented with their trophies on the 4th of November in the library by the Lord Mayor of Galway. A big thank you to Imelda in the library who goes to a lot of trouble each year to make the quiz fun for all the teams.

Ms Treacy brought the 2 teams into the quiz.

We got 41 points. We are brilliant.

The two teams represented the school very well.

Ms Treacy got a thank you card and a box of chocolates to thank Imelda for all her hard work and for making the quiz a great event in the school calendar each year. She was delighted.
