Camogie Final 11th-June 2015

Well done to the girls on their fantastic achievement of reaching the county finals. The girls have had a fantastic year from being runners up in the mini 7's county to the performance they put in today. Unfortunately we  were defeated by a fantastic Bullaun team who were deserved victors. We  were playing 13 aside against a very strong team who were able to field just 5th and 6th class girls. We played a number of 3rd and 4th class pupils who worked tirelessly but the strength of the Bullaun team came through in the end. 

We in Newcastle could not  be prouder of the fantastic effort that the girls have put in this year. Well done to all involved and a massive thanks to the supporters, pupils and parents alike who came out in their droves.
